Engineers without Border Makerthon- AUGUST 2018

Cyborg Dynamics Engineering CEO Stephen Bornstein co-founded and lead the incubation program for the EWB makerthon with the Queensland Chapter. The incubation is a first off post-event program setup by Cyborg Dynamics with their engineering network. The makerthon event attracted over 50 people to substation 33 in Logan, raised thousands of dollars for charity and saw incredible ideas from young innovators to better the lives of disabled people. This event will continue for many years.

CDE software engineer Tom Nash also co-won the event with his teams idea of a smart charger for power chairs to allow disabled people to plug in their own chair to the power wall with charge monitoring on their smart phone.
